AbsorGel Hanging 1Kg
AbsorGel® Hanging is a container desiccant bag based on the proven ability of calcium chloride. Calcium chloride absorbs moisture from the air and is bound into a gel. The desiccant starts working as soon as it is removed from its sealed packaging. This container desiccant can hang vertically within the recess of container side panels. How AbsorGel® Hanging works
AbsorGel® Hanging is easy to install and remove with our AbsorHook™ System. No ladder is needed and you will save time, effort and money. It can hang within the corrugated recess of container side panels. The calcium chloride absorbs moisture from the surrounding air that passes through the outer breathable packaging material. AbsorGel® Hanging’s viscous gel ensures absorbed moisture stays in the product. AbsorGel® Hanging is fitted with a AbsorHook™ and adhesive pads to keep it securely in place. Absorgel Hanging can be used for any type of cargo and only needs 25 mm between the cargo and the AbsorGel® Hanging. It works in all type of containers. Generally, 4 – 6 strips are required for 20-foot containers carrying dry goods and 8 – 10 strips when hold moist goods, for a 40-foot container use 8 – 12 and 16 – 20 strips respectively. The number may vary depending on the length of the voyage, the range of temperatures encountered and the type of cargo protected. Delivery & Returns
At ITP Packaging we’ve tried to make the shipping process as simple as possible. For most mainland UK post codes standard delivery is FREE. For orders placed before 1pm, we’ll even despatch on the same day. The free delivery option offers 1-3 day delivery but you can upgrade to Next Day Delivery or AM Delivery if preferred.
For Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland a delivery charge will be applied and clearly displayed at checkout. If your order needs shipping on a pallet or multiple boxes, an additional charge may apply. We’ll contact you directly to discuss the charge which you can pay or cancel the order. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.
Worldwide shipping is available but not through our website. For any orders outside of the UK, please contact 0333 987 4565 or email hello@itppackaging.com and we will happily assist you further.
If you wish to return your order, please contact our Customer Support team on 0333 987 4565 within 48 hours of receipt of goods and they will assist you. All we ask is that you return the goods to us within 30 days of receiving the order and we’ll either refund or issue a replacement. Refunds will be issued by the same means you originally paid.

Delivery & Returns
At ITP Packaging we’ve tried to make the shipping process as simple as possible. For most mainland UK post codes standard delivery is FREE. For orders to Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland, the delivery charge will be clearly added to your order prior to checkout so that you are fully informed before you commit to payment.
Free delivery is 1-3 days but you can also upgrade to Next Day or AM delivery if preferred.
Currently our online system is only available for orders delivered to UK and Ireland. However, for any orders outside of the UK or Ireland, please contact 0333 987 4565 or email hello@itppackaging.com and we will happily assist you further.
If you receive your delivery and for some reason you’re not entirely happy and wish to return it, please contact our Customer Support team on 0333 987 4565 within 48 hours and they issue you with a returns document. All we ask is that you return the goods to us within 30 days of issuing the returns document and we’ll either refund or issue a replacement.
