Purpose
At ITP Packaging, our purpose is to distribute high quality industrial packaging solutions that help our customers operate efficiently, while actively working to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
We believe that business success and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. That’s why sustainability isn’t just a secondary thought, it’s part of who we are and everything we do; from the products we source and the suppliers we choose, to the way we run our own operations. This purpose is formally documented in our Articles of Association, reflecting our long term commitment to our employees, customers, community, and our planet.
Sustainability
As a responsible business, we are very much aware of the environmental and social impact we have on the world. We have set clear sustainability goals and are on a continuous journey to become a more sustainable and responsible organisation.
Sustainability means balancing economic, environmental, and social factors to ensure long term viability. We hold ourselves accountable to our employees, customers, suppliers, and the wider community.
We are currently working towards B Corp certification, a globally recognised standard for businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. This builds on the work we have already done and sets a clear direction for where we are heading.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals adopted by the UN in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs aim to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity for all. The 17 SDGs are:
Carbon Neutral Organisation
A vast number of the products we supply can help our customers reduce their carbon footprint which we are proud to be part of. However, we also need to look a little closer to home and ensure our own carbon footprint is as low as possible.
With this in mind we’ve worked with ‘Carbon Neutral Britain’ to become Carbon Neutral since 2023. We achieved this in two steps, firstly by reducing our carbon emissions and secondly through carbon offsetting.
The certification process involved a thorough analysis of our carbon footprint, including emissions from energy use, transportation, and waste. Based on the results, we calculated the amount of carbon we need to offset and invested in projects that reduce or remove the equivalent amount of carbon from the atmosphere.
Being carbon neutral is not just about reducing our impact on the environment, it is also about taking responsibility for it. We believe that businesses have a crucial role to play in addressing the climate crisis and we are committed to doing our part. By becoming carbon neutral, we are demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and making a positive impact on the planet.
This certification is an important milestone in our journey towards sustainability, but it is not the end. We are continuously looking for new ways to reduce our emissions and operate more sustainably. For example, we are exploring options for renewable energy sources, implementing efficient energy practices, and reducing waste.
Sustainability Projects
Through offsetting our Carbon Footprint we have funded a number of projects which also help us work towards a number of sustainability goals. These projects help towards SDGs 7, 8, 13 and 15. The projects we have helped fund are:
- Burgos Wind Farm – Philippines
- Andes Mountains Hydro Power – Chile
- Rice Husk Power Project – Cambodia
- Huaneng Changyi Wind Farm Project – China

ISO 14001 Environmental Management
ISO 14001:2015 is an environmental management standard. While it doesn’t set out specific performance requirements, it does standardise guidelines for successful systems that allow organisations to manage environmental performance. We are very proud to have achieved this accreditation, alongside our ISO 9001 Quality Management standard.
Our work and commitment to ISO 14001 contributes to SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15. While ISO 9001 contributes to SDGs 1, 9, 12 and 14.
