What Is a Leak Diverter?
If your workplace or warehouse is suffering from a leaky roof, broken gutters or pipes, or industrial spills, then a leak diverter can help to contain the problem before it gets out of hand. A leak diverter is designed to catch and divert roof or ceiling leaks that may occur in an industrial setting, providing a way to keep workplaces safe and clean, avoid contamination, and collect leaking liquids before a more permanent fix can be found.
Our leak diverting kit includes a canopy, clips, PVC hose, cam buckle straps and a yellow bin.
ITP Packaging’s leak diverter offers an ideal temporary solution that will help prevent stock damage, and protect your equipment, workplace, employees and customers by catching stray leaks in the canopy and funnelling them into the bin. It is a quick and straightforward way to deal with inconvenient roof leaks while reducing the risks of slips and falls by keeping areas dry. The pinched corners help funnel the liquid towards the centre for better drainage with the straps easily adjustable for levelling & positioning.
Our leak diverter kit is available in five sizes

How to Choose the Right Leak Diverter?
The primary difference between our different leak diverter kits is the size of the canopy and the number of straps or clips supplied in the package. To choose the right leak diverter for your needs, you therefore need to assess which size will be most appropriate.
The most effective sized leak diverter will be able to contain any potential spills within a given area of your workplace, so the larger the leak, the larger the canopy should be. You also need to assess where leaks could form and how the canopy can be attached to the ceiling. The larger the area, the more straps and clips you may need.
If you’re in any doubt as to which leak diverter is best for your needs, the team at ITP Packaging can provide an expert assessment of your requirements.
How Do You Install a Leak Diverter?
A leak diverter has to be installed directly below the ceiling leak in order to contain as much of the liquid as possible. The canopy must be suspended at height, in order to catch the leaks, and it must be suspended through the use of the given straps and clips.
The straps need to be taut, and the clips are designed to be attached to ceiling or wall supports. The hose is clipped to the canopy, allowing the leaks to drip down through the pipe and into the storage bin. The storage bin needs to be placed below the canopy, and it must be periodically emptied to ensure it does not overflow. When properly installed, ceiling leak diverter canopies provide you with a versatile solution that can quickly be fixed in place to stop ceiling leaks.
